Familiar places feel different after distance. Nothing has changed. Everything has changed. Home becomes a place to observe again. Spain is where I live. Madrid is home, but the work extends far beyond it — to coast and interior, village and city, festival and silence. These images are made without travelling far, which is the hardest kind. The difficulty of seeing what surrounds you every day.
